{"id":25377,"date":"2026-09-27T17:24:25","date_gmt":"2026-09-27T17:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paucostafoundation.org\/?post_type=job-offers&#038;p=25377"},"modified":"2026-09-27T17:26:58","modified_gmt":"2026-09-27T17:26:58","slug":"tecnico-a-de-comunicacion-y-organizacion-de-eventos","status":"publish","type":"job-offers","link":"https:\/\/www.paucostafoundation.org\/en\/job-offers\/tecnico-a-de-comunicacion-y-organizacion-de-eventos\/","title":{"rendered":"Communication and Events Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Pau Costa Foundation (PCF) is an international non-profit organisation that advocates for a profound change in society\u2019s perception of landscape fire by disseminating knowledge about fire ecology, facilitating landscape-level fire management, and bridging the gap between research, professionals and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also aims to serve as a platform for coordinating information and as a point of contact for the exchange and transfer of knowledge in the fields of fire ecology research and operational fire management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PCF is looking for <strong>a Communication and Events Officer<\/strong> to strengthen its team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All candidates will be assessed against the criteria outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tasks and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support the work of the PCF Communication Area, in particular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organisation of conferences, workshops and public engagement activities, both nationally and internationally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation and dissemination of content through PCF\u2019s different communication channels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Production of printed, visual and online materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in the dissemination of PCF\u2019s key projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaison with the media, preparation of press releases and supporting materials for national and international media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance of media, impact and Foundation contact databases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Degree or training in audiovisual communication, journalism, marketing, advertising and public relations, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command of MS Office and good IT skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactive attitude, ability to work as part of a team and to work remotely with a reasonable degree of autonomy in a multinational working environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent spoken and written English (minimum B2 level), Catalan and Spanish. Knowledge of any other European language will be considered an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional requirements to be considered:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience in organising international events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving licence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to adapt to the changes and dynamic nature required by projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software will be considered an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Employment conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Permanent contract with a 5-month probationary period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full-time position (40 hours per week).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gross annual salary between \u20ac29,400 and \u20ac35,000, depending on qualifications and experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexible working hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immediate availability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hybrid working arrangement, partly remote and partly from the Foundation\u2019s headquarters in Taradell.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pau Costa Foundation offers an inspiring, dynamic and international working environment, as well as multiple opportunities for professional growth and learning new skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications will be treated confidentially.
