In the forests of Rocallaura, the last fire took place in the late 30s, that is, more than 70 years accumulating organic material.
This study can be a good instrument to assess whether there may be revival fires in other parts of the territory and it should also be one more tool for firefighting teams when rethinking firefighting strategies and monitoring fire perimeters.
